1. Validity

These general terms and conditions (GTC) apply to all orders and shipments between ConorsAdventure, Pija Vrezner s.p., Gradišče pri Divači 3A, 6215 Divača (hereinafter: Conor's Adventure) and its customers for the online store conorsadventure.si.

 

2. Order, Conclusion of the Contract, Quantity Restrictions

Order

  • Conor's Adventure offers its customers a wide selection of premium dog products. By clicking on the products or their descriptions, the customer can view details such as the color or size of the product. By choosing the desired quantity and clicking the “ADD TO CART” button, the product is placed into the virtual shopping cart.
  • By clicking the "view cart" button, located at the top right of the online store, the customer is taken to an overview page where they can check which products are in their virtual shopping cart and, if necessary, make adjustments.
  • If the customer wishes to complete the purchase, they may proceed by clicking the "CHECKOUT" button. Registered customers can enter their username and password here so that their saved information is automatically used for the order. Alternatively, the customer may register as a new customer and open an account, or continue the purchase without creating an account. In this case, the customer must provide their address and billing details on the next page.
  • The order is finalized by clicking the "COMPLETE ORDER" button. This constitutes a binding offer.
  • By submitting the order, the customer also agrees that the ordered products may have labels only in English or German, which can, upon request via email to pija@conorsadventure.com, also be provided in translation.

Conclusion of the Contract

The presentation of the assortment in the online store is for illustrative purposes only and does not constitute a binding offer to purchase. The customer makes a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract by clicking the "complete order" button. The customer then automatically receives an order confirmation by email (order confirmation). This order confirmation does not yet constitute acceptance of the offer. The contract with Conor's Adventure comes into force only when Conor's Adventure dispatches the ordered product to the customer and confirms the shipment to the customer by email (shipping confirmation).

Quantity Restrictions

The sale of the offered products is limited to the usual quantities appropriate for households and for persons capable of conducting business.

 

3. Prices and Shipping Costs

All prices include the legally prescribed VAT based on the Value Added Tax Act. The prices of the products do not include the costs of shipping and packaging.

4. Delivery

The approximate delivery time, unless otherwise specified in the offer, is 2–3 business days.

If not all ordered products are in stock, Conor's Adventure reserves the right, at its own expense, to deliver in partial shipments, provided the customer agrees.

If Conor's Adventure is unable to deliver an ordered product because it is not supplied by its supplier through no fault of its own, Conor's Adventure may withdraw from the contract. In such a case, Conor's Adventure will immediately inform the customer and offer a similar product. If a similar product is not available or the customer does not wish to receive the alternative product, Conor's Adventure will refund the payment for the already paid products immediately without set-off.

If the received products are damaged during transport, the customer must immediately notify pija@conorsadventure.com or call 040 626 056. This allows Conor's Adventure to claim compensation for the damage from the carrier or transport insurance. If the customer does not provide proof of damage incurred during transport, this shall not affect their rights under the statutory warranty.

For optimal order processing, Conor's Adventure provides the appropriate delivery service with the customer’s e‑mail address and, if provided, also their telephone number. This transfer is an integral part of the contractual relationship with Conor's Adventure.

 

5. Reservation of Ownership

The goods remain the property of Conor's Adventure until full payment is received. Without the consent of Conor's Adventure, no pledge, transfer of ownership, alteration, or transformation of the goods is permitted.

 

6. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have a right of withdrawal of 14 days. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for a purpose that is not intended for their commercial or independent business activities. The following rules apply regarding the right of withdrawal and its exclusions. For further questions regarding withdrawal, the customer may contact our Customer Service Department.

Withdrawal Conditions

Right of Withdrawal

The customer has the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is calculated from the day you receive, or have received by a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), the last product.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (ConorsAdventure, Pija Vrezner s.p., Gradišče pri Divači 3A, 6215 Divača, Slovenia, pija@conorsadventure.com) in writing (e.g., by post or email) with a clear explanation of your decision to withdraw from the contract.

It is sufficient for the withdrawal period if the notice of withdrawal is sent before the expiry of the right of withdrawal.

Procedure for Withdrawal

In the event of withdrawal from this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including shipping costs (except for any additional costs incurred because you chose a different delivery method than our standard delivery), immediately and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your notice of withdrawal. The refund will be made using the same payment method that was used for the original transaction, unless explicitly agreed otherwise; in no case will you incur any additional costs due to the refund. We may also withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you provide proof that you have sent the goods back, taking into account previous actions.

You must return the goods immediately, but in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of the withdrawal, to the following address:

The deadline is met if you send the goods back before the end of the 14-day period.

You will bear the costs of returning the goods.

You are liable for any loss in value of the goods that occurs as a result of testing the quality, properties, and performance of the goods, unless you acted in accordance with the instructions.

 

Exclusion of the Right to Withdraw from the Contract

The right to withdraw from the contract is excluded for the supply of goods

  • that are not pre-manufactured but for which individual choice or decision by the consumer predominated during production, or that have been manufactured specifically according to the instructions and wishes of the customer, or for the supply of perishable goods or goods with a short shelf life;
  • that, for reasons of health protection or hygiene, are not suitable for return once the seal has been removed after delivery;
  • that, after delivery, become inseparably mixed with other goods;
  • or for which visible signs of damage resulting from improper handling are present.

 

7. Warranty and Liability

Statutory warranty rights apply.

Conor's Adventure assumes no liability for the consequences of improper or incorrect use of Conor’s Adventure products when used as prescribed.

WARRANTY TERMS FOR PRODUCTS OF THE CONOR'S ADVENTURE BRAND

All products of the Conor's Adventure brand undergo a thorough inspection according to strict quality assurance criteria. ConorsAdventure, Pija Vrezner s.p., with its registered office at Gradišče pri Divači 3a, 6215 Divača (hereinafter “manufacturer”), as the guarantor, warrants the properties and flawless performance for a warranty period of 12 months, which begins upon delivery of the goods to the consumer. During this period, the manufacturer will rectify free of charge all defects that are found to have occurred due to a manufacturing fault or material defect. If the defect cannot be remedied within a total period of 45 calendar days from the day on which the manufacturer or seller has received the consumer’s request for repair, at the customer’s request we will replace the product free of charge with an identical, new, and flawless one or refund the paid amount. We guarantee that we will bear all costs incurred in sending the product for repair according to the current shipping rates of Pošta Slovenije. The service and spare parts guarantee period is 3 years after the expiry of the warranty period. The warranty is valid within the European Union (EU) and applies only to the first purchaser and is non-transferable.

Some components of the products, due to their composition, are more susceptible to wear. Proper maintenance of the product will extend its lifespan.

EXTENDED WARRANTY OF 24 MONTHS FOR CONOR'S ADVENTURE PRODUCTS IN THE "ACTIVE WITH DOG" CATEGORY

For products in the ACTIVE WITH DOG category:

  • Active with Dog Kit
  • Multipurpose Leash
  • Dog Treat Bag (with and without leash)
  • Phone Pouch
  • Dog Water Bottle Pouch
  • Multipurpose Holder for Puller
  • Foldable Water Bowl
  • Trousers Belt (25 mm and 40 mm)

The manufacturer offers an extended warranty of 24 months, which begins upon delivery of the goods to the consumer.

EXCLUSIONS FROM THE WARRANTY

The warranty does not cover damages caused by:

  • improper or negligent use, including (but not limited to) abuse;
  • unauthorized interventions in the products, including (but not limited to) repairs or modifications not carried out by the manufacturer;
  • mechanical damage or overloading of components;
  • external factors, including (but not limited to) bites, cuts, impacts;
  • lack of or improper maintenance of the product;
  • normal wear and tear (e.g. wear of straps, plastic components, magnetic components, buckles);
  • transport after the delivery of the product;
  • force majeure or accidents.

The warranty is not recognized, in particular but not exclusively, in the case of:

  • any mechanical damage (e.g., a chewed collar or leash);
  • detected repeated and recurring defects as a consequence of improper and/or negligent use;
  • incomplete warranty documentation (original invoice) or discrepancies between the invoice details and the product.

The warranty also does not cover products that have been disassembled, partially disassembled or repaired with non-original parts, or products that have been attempted to be repaired by unauthorized persons. The warranty does not cover routine maintenance, consumable or wear parts, or normal wear and tear of the product.

CLAIMING THE WARRANTY

To claim the warranty, it is necessary to include the original invoice, which was issued by the manufacturer or an authorized seller, when returning the product for service.

The product can be returned directly to the manufacturer or an authorized seller. The 45-day repair period starts from the date the product is received for service (at the manufacturer or the authorized seller).

 

8. Payment Methods and Coupons

Payment Methods
Products can be paid for by credit/debit card, via the PayPal system, by proforma invoice with bank transfer, or in cash upon personal collection at the company’s registered office. Conor's Adventure reserves the right, in individual cases or depending on the delivery method chosen by the customer, to accept only a specific payment method.

Payment in Cash upon Personal Collection at the Company’s Registered Office (ConorsAdventure, Pija Vrezner s.p., Gradišče pri Divači 3a, 6215 Divača)
The order can be collected and paid for in person at the company’s registered office. Collection is possible practically every day, including weekends, but it is necessary to arrange this by phone (telephone number 040 626 056) to ensure someone is available ;) Personal collection is completely free, meaning that you do not have to pay the €3.90 shipping fee.

Cash on Delivery
Please note that cash on delivery is only possible in CASH and that the maximum amount for cash on delivery is €500. Warning: if you fail to pay on delivery twice, the system will automatically no longer allow you to select cash on delivery for your next order!

Payment by Credit/Debit Card
When paying by credit/debit card, the amount is debited immediately upon placing the online order (we accept MasterCard, Visa, Visa Electron, Activa, American Express, BA Maestro).

Payment by Proforma Invoice
In the case of payment by proforma invoice, the invoice amount must be transferred to the bank account specified below within 7 days after receiving the order confirmation.

Coupons
In the case of redeeming coupons, special conditions apply, such as a minimum order quantity, validity period, etc. The relevant information is provided on the coupons. In any event, only one coupon or discount per order may be redeemed per purchase. A cash payout or later adjustment for previous orders is not possible. Resale is not permitted.

Transaction Costs
In the event that the customer delays payment, interest for late payment will be added at a rate of 5 percentage points above the ECB base rate. If the customer is not the end consumer, the late payment interest amounts to 8 percentage points above the ECB base rate. Conor's Adventure reserves the right to claim higher compensation for delay upon notification.

Invoices
The customer agrees to receive invoices in electronic form. Electronic invoices will be sent to the customer’s e‑mail address as a PDF file.

 

9. Data Protection

Conor's Adventure takes the protection of its customers’ data very seriously. The data protection provisions of Conor's Adventure are available here.

 

10. Marketing Communications & Customer Communication

When a customer enters into a contract with Conor's Adventure and provides their e‑mail address, Conor's Adventure is entitled to use that e‑mail address for direct advertising of similar products or services, unless the customer has objected at the time of providing their e‑mail address. The customer always has the right to object to the use of their e‑mail address at any time by sending an e‑mail to pija@conorsadventure.com or by contacting us via the contact form, without any additional costs except for the transmission charges according to the basic tariff.

12. Final Provisions

If any provisions of these general business terms become invalid or unenforceable, the contract remains in force until completion, and Slovenian law shall apply. This choice of law applies only as long as it does not conflict with the current applicable legal provisions of the country in which the consumer has his permanent residence at the time of the order.

 

13. Notice on the Use of Facebook Pixel

Conor's Adventure uses Facebook Pixel, an analytical tool for advertising efficiency provided by the social network Facebook. Facebook Pixel is owned by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or, if you are located in the EU, by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland.

Facebook Pixel is directly connected to the social network Facebook. When you visit the Conor's Adventure website, a cookie is stored on your device that is used so that the appropriate ads are displayed the next time you log into your Facebook account. Facebook Pixel contributes to the optimization of advertising, thereby enabling the display of relevant and non-intrusive Facebook ads. In addition, using Facebook Pixel we can determine how many users click on a specific Facebook ad. This helps us assess the effectiveness of our Facebook ads for statistical purposes and market research. The data collected does not allow us to determine the identity of the user. For more information on how Facebook collects and uses these data and how to protect your privacy, please refer to Facebook’s privacy policy. If you do not want your data to be collected or used for displaying Facebook ads, you can exercise your right to opt out of Facebook Pixel. This can be done by logging into Facebook and following the provided link. The selected settings are independent of the platform and apply to both desktop and mobile devices.


14. Alternative Dispute Resolution

Conor's Adventure, Pija Vrezner s.p., as a provider of goods, offers its online store in Slovenia and publishes on its website an electronic link to the platform for online consumer dispute resolution (SRPS). The platform is available to consumers at the following link: HERE. This arrangement is based on the Law on Out-of-Court Settlement of Consumer Disputes, Regulation (EU) No. 524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on Online Dispute Resolution for Consumer Disputes, and the amendments to Regulation (EC) No. 2004/2016 and Directive 2009/22/EC.
