40mm MAGNETIC DOG COLLAR
The Conor's Adventure 40mm magnetic dog collar is designed for medium and large dog breeds. It combines premium materials, outstanding durability and practical everyday functionality in a lightweight, comfortable design.
It is made from 40mm polyester webbing, a lightweight aircraft-grade aluminium D-ring for leash attachment and an original FIDLOCK® magnetic buckle. Every Conor's Adventure collar is sewn with reinforced safety stitching, the same type of stitching used in professional climbing, search and rescue and military equipment.
The polyester webbing is highly resistant to heavy loads, mechanical wear and UV exposure. Although the webbing gets wet, the polyester fibres do not absorb water, allowing the collar to dry quickly. Thanks to the 2mm thick polyester webbing, the collar will not stretch under load, as polyester is significantly less elastic than many other materials.
The D-ring for leash attachment is made from aircraft-grade aluminium. It is lightweight, corrosion-resistant and designed to withstand extremely high loads. According to the manufacturer, the 40mm D-ring has a static load rating of up to 225kg. During our own testing, it successfully withstood a static load of 140kg without any damage.
The FIDLOCK® magnetic buckle is manufactured from high-quality engineering plastic and stainless steel. The integrated magnet simply guides the buckle into the correct position, making fastening quick and intuitive. The magnet does not keep the collar closed. Once engaged, the buckle is mechanically locked and will not open under load. For additional security, it can also be secured with a safety lock to prevent accidental release.
According to the manufacturer, the FIDLOCK® buckle has a static load rating of 70kg. During our own testing, however, it withstood a static load of 140kg without any damage.

Original AustriAlpin COBRA® ProStyle buckle
For an additional charge, you can upgrade your collar with the original COBRA® ProStyle buckle manufactured by the Austrian company AustriAlpin.
This professional-grade aluminium buckle is certified for climbing applications and withstands loads of up to 18kN (1,800kg).
Despite its exceptional strength, it weighs only approximately 67g.
The patented locking mechanism allows the buckle to be opened only by pressing both side release buttons simultaneously. If the buckle is under load,
or if only one button is pressed, it cannot be opened.
COBRA® ProStyle buckles are normally available in black. Other colours may occasionally be available upon request,
so please contact us for current availability.

40mm Personalised Velcro Patch
When ordering a 40mm collar, you can personalise it with your dog's name. The patch can include your dog's name, a phone number* or any other text of your choice.
Various thread colours and patch background options are available.
The patch consists of two parts: the hook (rough side) and the loop (soft side). The hook side is sewn onto the personalised patch,
while the loop side is sewn onto the collar. The patch can also be used on any equipment fitted with compatible loop Velcro.
NOTE*
For very small dogs with a smaller neck circumference, the available space on the collar is limited, which may restrict the maximum length of the personalised patch.

40mm Handle
The 40mm collar handle allows you to gain quick control of your dog whenever needed. It is particularly practical for long-haired breeds, where the collar may be hidden beneath the coat. For larger breeds, it also provides a comfortable way to hold the dog close while walking beside you. It is especially popular among search and rescue dog handlers.
Made from durable polyester webbing, the handle is resistant to mechanical wear and UV exposure. The material is soft, comfortable to hold and will not cut into your hand. It is available for all 40mm collars in every colour, with optional colour combinations (for example, a black collar with a blue handle).
Handle dimensions*:
- Length: 8cm, width: 2.4cm (sizes M, L and XL).
- Length: 6cm, width: 2.4cm (size S).

Measure your dog's neck circumference using a flexible measuring tape. We recommend measuring the neck snugly, without leaving extra space, especially when choosing smaller sizes. All Conor's Adventure collars are adjustable.

FAQ
A magnetic FIDLOCK® buckle... is it really safe?
A perfectly reasonable question. In fact, most people ask exactly the same thing the first time they see it in action:
"Is my dog's safety really dependent on a magnet?" The answer is no. The magnet's only purpose is to assist with closing the buckle quickly and easily.
The magnet does NOT keep the collar closed.
What if the FIDLOCK® buckle loses its magnetic strength?
According to the German manufacturer FIDLOCK®, this should not happen under normal use. The magnetic strength could only be affected if the buckle is exposed to high temperatures for an extended period (for example, when washed above 60°C). Based on the manufacturer's testing, salt water is not an issue either. However, after exposure to seawater, we always recommend rinsing the collar thoroughly with fresh water to help prolong the lifespan of the materials and metal components.
Can I exchange the collar for a different size?
If the collar is unused, undamaged and shows no signs of wear, we will happily exchange it for a smaller or larger size at any time.
If you discover later that the collar is slightly too large, we can also shorten it (rather than replace it) without any problem. We always do our best to find the most practical solution for our customers.
What is aircraft-grade aluminium?
Aircraft-grade aluminium, also known as duralumin, is an aluminium alloy containing copper, magnesium and manganese. It combines low weight with exceptional strength and excellent corrosion resistance. Thanks to its outstanding mechanical properties, it is widely used in the aerospace industry as well as in many other demanding applications.
