Dog Toy - Bende bite tug 4x 20cm
This motivational dog toy, the Bende bite tug in the size 4x 20cm, is an excellent choice for both small and generally also large dogs. Due to its elongated shape, it is sometimes also referred to as a sausage.
In comparison with the other elongated Bende bite tugs (Bende bite tug 4x30cm and Bende bite tug 6x30cm), it is the softest and is also suitable for young dogs and puppies of larger breeds (e.g., German or Belgian Shepherds, Dobermans, Rottweilers, etc.). It is also excellent for teaching the proper bite technique.
WARNING: We recommend that during the period when puppies are teething, you exercise caution in its use and avoid rough play.
The Bende bite tug 4x 20cm is made from nylcot material, also known as "ring material". This material is frequently used in professional dog sports, from which bite suits for IPO training are typically made. As the name suggests ("nylcot" = nylon + cotton), it is a blend of polyamide and cotton that provides the toy with exceptional resistance and durability against bites.
The Bende bite tug 4x 20cm is available only with one handle.
You can use it for tug-of-war play with your dog, or you can throw it and subsequently practice retrieving.
It is extremely practical for obedience training – as a reward. Thanks to its elongated, tubular shape, it fits perfectly in the armpit area for teaching the "next to" command. When it is time to reward your dog, simply pull it out of the armpit with the help of a strap and reward your dog.
