CLICKER

The Conor’s Adventure clicker is a great tool for dog training, as it allows you to clearly mark (confirm) the desired behavior. After every click, there must immediately follow a reward in the form of a treat or toy.

Example of how to use the clicker:

• Each time your dog performs a desired behavior (e.g., when you call their name and they look at you), click + say a confirmation word like “yes” + give them a treat.
• This way, the dog associates the click with a reward — in other words, when they hear the click after completing a task, they know a reward is coming.

The clicker is made of a plastic casing, a metal plate, and an elastic wrist strap.

With the strap, you can wear the clicker around your wrist, so it’s always within easy reach.
