INFINITY HARNESS - Standard 40mm
The Conor's Adventure Infinity modular harness, with a width of 40 mm, is designed for larger dog breeds. It is suitable for both professional and recreational (hobby) use.
The modular design and construction of the harness, together with various add-ons, allow for a wide range of use. It can easily be used for walks or hiking, and even for canicross or bikejoring. Thanks to the use of high-quality materials, it can withstand even demanding protection training or other professional tasks (e.g. military, police) without any issues.
The harness was developed in collaboration with one of the leading orthopaedists in Slovenia – veterinarian Dr. Marko Novak, with the aim of achieving as little restriction as possible while maintaining high comfort for the dog and practical usability for the handler.
Each harness can be almost completely customised to the needs of the dog and handler.
INTERCHANGEABLE CHEST SUPPORT
Depending on the intended use of the harness and the width of the dog’s chest, you can choose between two chest supports: NARROW and WIDE.
The narrow chest support is suitable for activities where the dog needs maximum freedom of movement in the shoulder joint, or for dogs with a narrower chest.
Meanwhile, the wider chest support is an excellent choice for protection training and professional work with the dog. It is also suitable for dogs with a wider chest. Use the chart to help you choose.
FULLY ADJUSTABLE STRAPS
The harness can be adjusted in three different places by lengthening or shortening the straps.
In addition to the standard adjustment on the shoulders and on the sides at the ribs, many users will definitely appreciate the option of length adjustment on the chest support - which is also a special feature of this harness. This prevents rubbing under the armpits and allows for the freest possible movement.
ONLY THE BEST MATERIALS
Like all Conor’s Adventure products, the Infinity harness is made from premium materials suitable for military and mountaineering use, and sewn with safety stitching.
Its outer layer is made from durable and scratch-resistant CORDURA®, while the inside is made from breathable and soft polyamide mesh. The straps are made from highly resistant polyamide, and the ribs are fastened with Fidlock® magnetic buckles.
All load-bearing components – D-rings and buckles on the shoulders and chest – are made from aerospace-grade aluminium, which withstands high loads and is corrosion-resistant. The handle and accessory loops are reinforced with synthetic Hyplon® rubber.
The basic version of the harness already has Velcro panels attached. If desired, you can also order it without them – in this case, please contact us.
BUCKLES
The Standard version of the harness has 4 buckles used to secure it on the dog.
The side straps feature FIDLOCK® magnetic buckles, made from high-quality plastic and stainless steel (INOX). A magnet is built into the buckle for easy fastening. The buckle is designed so that it cannot be opened under load.
The harness can also be opened at the shoulders, which is an excellent solution for dogs that are afraid of having a harness pulled over their head. For this purpose, there are two aerospace-grade aluminium buckles that are easy to use and remain securely closed even under load.
D-RINGS AND HANDLE
The harness has two 40mm D-rings made from aerospace-grade aluminium on the back.
The manufacturer guarantees that a 40mm D-ring can withstand 225 kg of static load. In addition, there is a 25mm D-ring on the narrow chest support, intended for front leash attachment. This allows better control when the dog pulls.
A handle is also integrated into the back of the harness and positioned crosswise for easy gripping. It is covered with synthetic Hypalon® rubber to ensure a better grip.
WHAT ELSE CAN IT DO? - ADD-ONS
All Conor's Adventure Infinity – Standard (short) harnesses are designed with the option of attaching various add-ons.
As already mentioned, the Infinity is the first modular harness in the world, which means you do not need to buy several different harnesses.
From the basic (Standard) version, you can easily upgrade it into a long or running harness.
Extension
The extension attaches to the Standard part of the harness with aluminium components arranged on the back and belly sections.
In this way, a 4-point harness becomes a 6-point harness, which is especially popular with owners of dogs that know how to escape from a classic 4-point harness.
The extension for the 40mm harness also includes an additional handle (which is secured with a magnet). This is very practical when the dog needs to be lifted over an obstacle with both hands.
WARNING: The running add-on must be removed before attaching the extension.
Running add-on
The running add-on also attaches to the Standard harness with aluminium components. Two buckles (small clips) attach to the back section on the left and right,
while the aluminium components on the belly section attach to the straps that are positioned “at an angle”.
With the running add-on, it is even more important that the pulling forces on the harness are redistributed differently (more towards the back), so the dog is not restricted around the neck while running or pulling.
The running extension is correctly attached to the harness when it is almost in a straight line with the leash (see video or photo).
WARNING: The running add-on is NOT USED on the extension, but only on the STANDARD harness.
Personalized patches
Personalized patch 40mm
When ordering the Conor's Adventure Infinity – Standard harness, you can personalize it with your dog’s name.
We can write the dog’s name, phone number or anything else on the patch. You can choose from different colours and patch background options.
The patch consists of two parts: hook (rough) and loop (soft). When ordering, the hook part is sewn onto the name patch, while the loop part is sewn onto the harness.
This patch can be used anywhere where a loop Velcro panel is already attached.
For any special requests, please contact us.
Reflectors
The Conor's Adventure Infinity harness does not include any reflectors for a reason, as a survey among our followers and customers showed that
more users would like the option of so-called removable reflectors.
The reflectors are made from CYFLECT® HONEYCOMB reflective glow-in-the-dark tape that absorbs light and, in the dark, reflects it in a greenish colour.
The tape glows for approximately 10 minutes before it needs to be “recharged” again. This is done by exposing it briefly to light (with a portable light or mobile phone).
If the tape is illuminated by a light source (e.g. car headlights), it acts as an intense reflector visible from at least 200m.
The set includes six reflectors; 4 reflectors for the front part of the harness (on the shoulders, 2x wide and 2x narrow), and two larger ones for the side of the back section.
FAQ
FIDLOCK® Magnetic Buckle – Is it safe?
A perfectly reasonable question. Many people, when seeing it in action for the first time, think the same thing: is my dog's safety really dependent on a magnet?
The magnet only helps to guide the buckle when closing the collar. The magnet itself does NOT hold the collar closed.
If you’re wondering how strong the buckle really is, check out our blog post
(How much weight can a leash clip and collar buckle withstand?)
and rest assured – there's nothing to worry about. In a static load test, it held up to 140 kg (we actually ran out of weights).
Is the harness suitable for car travel?
Our harness is not certified for use in car travel, as such certification would require every component to be individually tested for extreme forces.
In general, it can be used in the car to secure your dog on the back seat, but we still recommend transporting your dog in a dedicated crate in the trunk.
What if the FIDLOCK® buckle loses its magnetic hold?
According to the data and guarantees from the German company FIDLOCK®, this should not happen – unless the buckle is exposed to high temperatures over time (e.g. washing it at over 60°C).
Even salt water is not an issue based on their testing. Nevertheless, we strongly recommend rinsing the harness and buckle with fresh water after any contact with salt water.
What is aircraft-grade aluminum?
Aircraft aluminum, also known as Duralumin, is an alloy composed of aluminum, copper, magnesium, and manganese.
The alloy is lightweight, strong, and corrosion-resistant. Duralumin is very hard, which is why it is also used in the aerospace industry.
